ROYALSTON - Marguerite E (Clark) Langlois, 95 of 9 Frye Hill Rd., Royalston, died Wednesday, January 4, 2017 in the Athol Hospital, Athol.
She was born in Athol, on February 25, 1921, the daughter of the late Walter and the late Alice (Bowers) Clark.
Marguerite grew up in Royalston and graduated from Athol High School. She was a member of the American Legion Auxiliary Unit 102 in Athol for over 50 years. As a member with the Auxiliary, she held the office of President along with many others over the years. She was past director of the Worcester County Council, Cabane National Femmes for over 43 years, serving a president, National Sous President, Ladies Benevolent Society of Royalston for many years, and the Grange for over 80 years where she held many offices. She enjoyed crocheting. Marguerite was the oldest woman in Royalston.
She leaves two daughters: Alice D. Langlois of Royalston, Jean Langlois of Athol, two sons: Stephen Langlois of Orange, Kevin Langlois of FL: thirteen grandchildren: twenty-four great grandchildren, four great great grandchildren; two sisters: Virginia Gingras of Royalston, Patricia Lamb of Orange.
Marguerite was predeceased by her husband Floyd Langlois; two sons: Peter Langlois and Donald Langlois; three brothers: William Clark, Richard Clark and Walter Clark.
Funeral services will be held Saturday, January 14, 2017 at 11:00 am in the Fiske-Murphy & Mack Funeral Home, 110 New Athol Road,
Calling hours will be held Friday from 5 to 7 p.m. at the funeral home.
