Maria E. Toledo

Leominster-Maria Elena Toledo, 75, died Saturday, May 7, 2022 at Leominster Hospital after an illness. She leaves her six children, Javier Borjas, Rogelio Borjas both of Mexico, Sergio Borjas of Texas, Sanjuana Borjas of Leominster, Juan Toledo of Shrewsbury and Gesenia Jimenez Tubio of Leominster; many many grandchildren; many many great-grandchildren; 12 brothers and sisters and many many nieces and nephews. She is predeceased by a son Leandro Borjas. Maria was born in Aguascalientes, Mexico on June 5, 1946 a daughter of the late Jose Cardona Martinez and Angelina Ortiz Garcia. She enjoyed sewing, needlework and embroidery. She loved collecting pictures, taking pictures and having her picture taken. She also enjoyed Clint Eastwood movies and traveling. She was a member of the Jehovah Witness Spanish Congregation in Leominster. A graveside service will be held in St. Leo’s Cemetery, Lancaster Street, Leominster, MA Calling hours will be held in the Simard Funeral Home, 14 Walker Street, Leominster, MA from 9:00 - 11:00 a.m. prior to the graveside service.
