ATHOL - Marie L. (Daigle) Coleman, 78 of 378 Chestnut Hill Ave., Athol, died Friday, March 16, 2007 in the Athol Memorial Hospital with her husband, children and grandson Christopher at her side. She was born in Athol, on September 23, 1928, the daughter of the late Alderic and the late Lottie (Valley) Daigle. She grew up in Athol and graduated from Athol High School in 1946. Mrs. Coleman was employed at the Athol Daily News as a graphic artist, Plotkin Furniture as a clerk and as a receptionist for Dr. Glaser. She was a communicant of Our Lady Immaculate Church and a member of the Catholic Womens League. She leaves her husband of 58 years, Rodman L. Coleman, two daughters, Nancy Kingsbury of Athol, Debora Farley and her husband Kim of Athol; one son, Richard Coleman and his wife Ilene of Arlington Heights, IL; five grandchildren Rebecca Coleman of Chicopee, Gregory Coleman of Westfield, Heather Talledo of Weatogue, CT, Ryan Kingsbury of Oxford, Christopher Farley of Athol; three great grandchildren, Alexander Talledo of Weatogue, CT, Mackenzie Farley and Jackson Farley both of Newtown, PA. She was predeceased by several brothers and sisters. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at Wednesday, March 21, 2007 at 10:00 am in Our Lady Immaculate Church, 192 School St., Athol. Burial will follow in South Cemetery, Orange. Calling hours will be held Tuesday, March 20, 2007, from 6 to 8 p.m. at the J. Edward Murphy Funeral Home 137 Main St., Athol. In lieu of flowers, the family suggests that memorial contributions be made in her memory to Quabbin Valley Healthcare - Dana Unit 821 Daniel Shays Highway, Athol, MA 01331.
