Marie R. (Calvetti) Curcio

GARDNER - Marie R. (Calvetti) Curcio, 87, of Gardner died Thursday, April 13, 2017 at Heywood Hospital of Gardner. She was born August 13, 1929 in Milford, NH, the daughter of the late Joseph A. and the late May R. (Jacques) Calvetti. Marie graduated from Milford High School in Milford, NH with the class of 1947. She married Leonard R. Curcio on April 22, 1953 and moved to Gardner. She was a communicant of Sacred Heart Church. She enjoyed making miniture doll furniture. She leaves her husband of 64 years, Leonard R. Curcio of Gardner; one son, Ralph J. Curcio of East Templeton; three daughters, Karen M. Curcio of Chesterfield, NH; Mary Jane Bell and her husband Kevin of Gardner, Lynne A. Strazdus and her husband Greg of Leominster; one brother, Joseph J. Calvetti of Nashua, NH; one sister, Dolores V. Leger of Milford, NH; nine grandchildren, fourteen great grandchildren; two great great grandchilden and many nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by two brothers, Domenic A. Calvetti, William Calvetti and by three sisters, Juliette Fraser, Dorothy Calvettti and Jacqueline Calvetti. The family would like thank the French Connection for all of their care and support. A Mass of Christian burial will be held 11:00 am on Wednesday, April 19, 2017 at Holy Spirit Church, 50 Lovewell St., Gardner. Burial will be private at a later date. Calling hours will be Tuesday, April 18, 2017 from 5 to 7 p.m. at Lamoureux-Fletcher & Smith Funeral Home, 105 Central St., Gardner.
