Templeton- Marie E. Aho, 88, of Templeton, MA died on Nov 18th, 2012 at home in the company of family after a long illness.  Born January 5th, 1924 at home in Rangeley, ME, she lived a long and productive life.  Profoundly deaf her adult life, she returned to college in the 1970s to convert her LPN degree to an RN degree at Mount Wachusett Community College in Gardner and finished her career as a registered nurse at the Rutland Heights State Hospital. She was married on June 15, 1947 to Alvar Aho of Templeton.  Her husband died in 1979.  She leaves all of their descendents; Eldest daughter Susanna Schultz and her husband Larry, grandson Lance and his wife Katie and their children Jack Leonard and Anna Belle Elizabeth, daughter Sally Buteau of Massachusetts, grandchildren Diana and her husband Joe and their children Anthony, Tomas and Gabrielle, grandchild Scott and his children Ryan and Amber, son Leonard Michael Aho and his wife Joyce, grandsons Lt. Commander Robert Aho and his wife Anna and their child Mabel Kate and grandson Christopher, youngest daughter Mariann J. Aho, grandson Wade and his daughter Riley Elizabeth.  Grandma Aho will be missed by all.  The Family thanks HealthAlliance Hospice Services for their kind and generous care. Calling hours will be held from the John H. Mack Funeral Home 91 Vernon Street, Gardner, MA on Tuesday November 20, 2012 from 1:00pm – 3:00pm and 6:00pm - 8:00pm. Funeral will be held on Wednesday November 21, 2012 at 10:00am at the First Church of Templeton 1 Wellington Road, Templeton, MA. Burial will follow in the Pinegrove Cemetery, Templeton, MA.
