Marie T. Lizotte

ATHOL - Marie Therese Dolores Lizotte, age 73, of Athol died Saturday, July 25, 2015 at the Keystone Center of Leominster. Mrs. Lizotte was born March 7, 1942 in Fitchburg, the daughter of the late Raymond A. and Marie Rose (Aubin) Lizotte. Marie moved to Athol in 2004. She attended St. Joseph's School in Fitchburg and attended Gardner High School. She worked as a Stitcher for Deslisle's, Margaret-Doll and the New England Curtain Company making Dainty Maid Aprons. She worked as a stitcher all of her life. Her hobbies include knitting, crocheting and needlepoint that she learned from her mother at a young age. She is survived by three daughters, Gina Graves of Fitchburg, Polly Blodgett of Fitchburg, Penny Blodgett of Athol, MA; two sons, Charles A Boudreau of Westminster, Dana Hilton Sr. of Athol; her mother Marie Rose (Aubin) Lizotte of Stockton, MO; two brothers, Roger Lizotte of Austin, TX, Francis Lizotte of Stockton Mo, also her ex husband Paul Blodgett of 24yrs. Whom she remained very fond of ; ten grandchildren, 2 great grandchild and many nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her infant daughter Paula Ann Blodgett who died in 1971.Her brother Roland Lizotte who died in 2012 A Mass of Christian burial will be held at 11:00 am on Wednesday, July 29, 2015 at Our Lady Immaculate Church, 192 School St., Athol. Burial in St. Joseph's Cemetery, Fitchburg will be private at a later date. A calling hour will be Wednesday, July 29, 2015 from 9:15 - 10:15 a.m. at the Fiske-Murphy & Mack Funeral Home, 110 New Athol Road, Orange, MA.
