Ashburnham/Gardner- Marion R. "Nellie" (Duhammell) LeBlanc, 89 of 61 Lake Street, Gardner died Friday, November 2, 2007 following an illness. She was born in Ashburnham on December 6, 1917, the daughter of the late Sarah Mary (Shorkey) and Frederick Duhmmell, Jr. She resided most of her life in Ashburnham before relocating to Gardner 20 years ago. Mrs. LeBlanc was a member of the Forever Young Club of Ashburnham, and a member of St. Denis Church, Ashburnham. Her husband, Zoel J. LeBlanc died on July 24, 1979. She leave three nieces, Barbara (Day) Walker, wife of John Walker of Winchendon, Dorothy (Day) Richards, wife of William Richards of Port Charlotte, Florida, and Barbara (Duhammell) Haenish, wife of Donald Haenish of Ashburnham; two cousins, David St. Cyr of Ashburnham and Florence Barrett of Florida; and several great nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by a brother, Albert J. Duhammell who died in 1971 and by a sister, Hesdora (Day) Donahue who died in 2002. Funeral services will be held on Wednesday, November 7, 2007 with an 11 a.m. Mass of Christian Burial in St. Denis Church, 85 Main Street, Ashburnham. Burial will be in St. Denis Cemetery, Ashburnham. Calling hours will be held in the John H. Mack Funeral Home, 91 Vernon Street, Gardner on Tuesday, November 6, 2007 from 7-9 p.m. Memorial donations may be made to the Gardner Visiting Nurses Association Hospice Program, 334 Pearly Lane, Gardner, MA 01440 or may be left a the funeral home. $(document).ready(function(){ });
