Athol - Marion L. (Rowe) Sears Morgan of Athol, MA died August 29, 2015 at Gardner Rehabilitation & Nursing Center. She is predeceased by her parents Dorothy Rowe and Virgil Perry and her sister Florence Purcell. She leaves behind 8 children, Lynette Tatro of Athol, her caregiver for 10 years, Edmond Morgan of MI, Ramona Pelto of Athol, Roland Morgan of Rome, NY, Laura Merithew of VT, Dolores Sears of Concord, NH, Gerald Sears of Athol, and Geraldine Williams of VT; 2 brothers and 2 sisters, George Perry and Julia Brown of Arizona, Katherine Yering of Connecticut and Richard Perry of California; 23 grandchildren, 46 great grandchildren and 3 great great grandchildren; several nieces and nephews. She worked for many years at Cass Toy Company, Ray’s Plastic, Irving Paper Mill and at the Athol Table Shop. She loved to work in her gardens and tend to her plants. She loved going to Nantasket and Hampton Beach. She will be deeply missed. A Memorial service will be held Friday September 11, 2015 at 1 PM at Higgin’s-O’Connor Funeral Home, 146 Main Street, Athol. Captain Elliott Higgins will officiate. Burial will follow in Pine Grove Cemetery, Templeton. A calling hour will be held Friday September 11, 2015 from 11AM-1PM at Higgins-O’Connor Funeral Home.
