Marjorie W. Crosby

GARDNER - Marjorie W. (Wheaton) Crosby, 98, of Gardner and formerly of Cambridge, MA and West Palm Beach, FL, died Sunday, July 4, 2010 at the Legend Rehabilitation and Nursing Center in Gardner. Marjorie was born in Roslindale, MA, on January 6, 1912, the daughter of William and Eulalia (Grey) Wheaton of Boston. Marjorie moved to Gardner several years ago to be closer to her nieces, Marjorie Wictoski of Templeton and Dorothy M. Fischesser of Gardner. She grew up in Boston and graduated from the Girls High School in Boston. Marjorie became a Registered Nurse in 1934 and worked for the Forrest Hills Hospital for many years. Mrs. Crosby and her husband owned and operated the former Crosby's Hobby Center in Cambridge for many years. Marjorie resided in West Palm Beach, Florida with her husband for twenty-six years. She will be missed by many nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her husband of forty-eight years, Sidney M. Crosby, on April 24, 1990; also by four brothers and three sisters. Graveside services will be held Wednesday, July 7, 2010 at 12:45 p.m. in the Sharon Memorial Park, Dedham Street, Sharon, MA. There are no calling hours. $(document).ready(function(){ });
