Marjorie Martin

PETERSHAM - Marjorie Martin, 86 of Petersham, died Monday, July 14, 2014 in the Quabbin Valley Healthcare, Athol, MA. She was born in Hardwick, MA, on October 26, 1927, the daughter of the late Alton and the late Eunice (Hall) Martin. Marjorie lived with her sister, Florence until 1982 when she moved in with her sister, Thelma, until 2011 when she moved to Quabbin Valley Healthcare. She enjoyed embroidering, crossword puzzles, and animals. Marjorie always had kind words to say and loved being with people. She leaves two sisters, Thelma M. Lamb of Petersham, and her twin, Marion Sawin of Athol; several nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by two brothers, Frank Martin and Sherman Martin and two sisters, Ethel Martin and Florence Roach. Graveside services will be held Thursday, July 17, 2014 at 11:00 am in the Highland Cemetery, Hillside Terrace, Athol. There are no calling hours.
