ATHOL- Marjorie E. (Bergeron) Ralys, 91, passed away Friday, October 29, 2021 at Wachusett Rehabilitation and Nursing Center in Gardner. Marjorie was born in Orange on July 25, 1930, daughter of the late Lionel and Ella (Chiasson) Bergeron. She grew up and attended Orange schools. She worked for various local companies including, N.D. Cass Toy Company, Erving Paper Mill, Athol Shoe Shop, and Athol Daily News. She and her husband, Frank, ran Ralys Upholstery in Athol. Marjorie enjoyed watching the Red Sox and volunteering at the Athol Meal site. She also enjoyed line dancing, visiting with her friends, and going out to eat with her family. She was a member of the Athol Golden Agers, Red Hat Society, Athol YMCA and Our Lady Immaculate Church. She exercised at the YMCA with the Silver Sneakers. Her niece and nephew, Richard and Cheri Stone, were her faithful caregivers for over 20 years. In addition to Richard and Cheri; she is survived by two sisters, Anna C. Williams and Michelle Rose; many nieces and nephews; as well as many great and great-great grand nieces and nephews. Besides her parents, she was predeceased by her husband, Frank A Ralys; one brother, Edward Bergeron; three sisters, Doris Vatour, Alice Mayhew, and Beatrice Hughes. A funeral mass will be held Thursday, November 4, 2021 at 11:00am, Our Lady Immaculate Church, 192 Church Street, Athol. Burial to follow at Gethsemane Cemetery, Fielding Way, Athol. Calling hours will be held prior from 9:30-10:30 at Fiske-Murphy & Mack Funeral Home, 110 New Athol Road, Orange.
