ATHOL – It is with great sadness that the family of Marliene (Holcomb) LeClaire announces her passing after a brief illness, on Friday, January 5, 2018 at the age of 79 in the loving arms of her daughter Debora Boudreau and her dearest friend Frances Graciano.
Marliene will be loving remembered by her children, Cindy (LeClaire) Fiske and her husband Scott, Debora (LeClaire) Boudreau and her husband William, Jean (LeClaire) Stowell and her husband Lee, Thomas LeClaire and his wife Hazel, Betty LeClaire and David LeClaire and his fiance Laurie Perkins; two brothers: Howard Holcomb and his wife Lynn of Maryville, WA; Leon Holcomb of Hartford, CT; sisters-in-law: Diane Wadsworth and Dorothy Eaton and her husband Joseph all of CT; brother-in-law: Roy LeClaire and his wife Renee of CT. She also leaves behind her greatest joys: twelve grandchildren; sixteen great grandchildren; and her dearest friend to the end: Frances Graziano.
Her family was her life and she loved spending time with them and traveling with her friend Frances, whom she said she will be traveling with again soon.
A graveside service will be held Friday, January 19, 2018 at 11:00 a.m. at the Massachusetts Veteran’s Memorial Cemetery, 111 Glenallen St., Winchendon.
At her request, there are no calling hours.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations in Marliene’s name may be made the the Gardner Visiting Nurses, 34 Pearly Lane, Gardner, MA 01440.
