Martha A Morillo

FITCHBURG- Martha A. Morillo, 54, passed away on Saturday, March 19, 2022, at Leominster Hospital. Martha was born in Monte Cristi, Dominican Republic on October 27, 1967, daughter of Julio Diaz and Roma Morillo-Diaz of Fitchburg. Her family came to the United States when she was 7 years old. She lived in NYC for a while before settling in Fitchburg. She was a House Manager for disabled individuals for over 10 years. She went on to be an interpreter for a year before cancer made her leave early. She spent a lot of her time dedicating it to God and the 7th Day Adventist Church. Martha loved quality family time, get-togethers, shopping, and laughing. She fought breast, liver and bone cancer for 5 years. In addition to her parents, she is survived by her husband of 2 years, Fausto Familia of Fitchburg, one son, Jatniel Maria and his spouse, Sarah Moats of Fitchburg; three daughters, Thalya Ovalle and her spouse, Omar Rodriguez, Janiela Maria and her spouse, Joel Cruz, and Enmarrie Dejesus, all of Fitchburg; one step-daughter, Fariely Marie Familia; one step-son, Fausto (Jonas) Familia Marie; Joshly Rojas, who was like a daughter to her; five grandchildren, Tamayra Benzan of Fitchburg, Hennessey Gonzalez of Fitchburg, Carter Maria of WV, Mariela Maria of WV, and Legacy Rodriguez of Fitchburg; four brothers, Pablo Rojas of NYC, Mario Morillo of NYC, Johanny Rojas of Dominican Republic, and Marito Morillo of NYC; two sisters, Roma Rojas of NJ and Mildred Morillo of Fitchburg. She is predeceased by her son, Gadiel R. Maria, who passed on March 19, 2022 as well.
