ATHOL - Mary Jane (Bergeron) Waslaske, 94 formerly of 238 South Street died Wednesday, July 26, 2006, in the Harborside Applewood Nursing Home, Winchester, NH.
She was born in St. Samuel Quebec, Canada on May 22, 1912, the daughter of the late Henry and the late Laura (Leblanc) Bergeron.
She was a resident of Athol for 71 years.
Mrs. Waslaske was employed at the former J.F. MacElwain Shoe Company for over 25 years. She was a communicant of St. Francis of Assisi Church.
She leaves two daughters, Nancy Schmidt and her husband Philip of Athol, and Patricia Aldrich and her husband Allen of Athol; one brother, Marshall Bergeron of Keene, NH; five grandchildren and nine great grandchildren and several nephews and nieces.
She was predeceased by her husband Charles Waslaske who died in 1972. She was also predeceased by her sister, Alice Soucie, her brother Paul Bergeron, and two grandchildren, David Schmidt and Michelle Aldrich.
Funeral services will private. Burial will be in Gethsemane Cemetery, Athol.
In lieu of flowers, the family suggests that memorial contributions be made in her memory to to a charity of one´s choice.
