Mary M. (Kasuba) Haskins

ORANGE- Mary M. (Kasuba) Haskins, 86, of Orange, died Wednesday, June 10, in Quabbin Valley Health Care, after an illness. She was born August 23, 1928, in Poultney, Vermont, daughter of the late John and Anna Kasuba and moved to Massachusetts in the mid 1940's. Mrs. Haskins was a member of the former Athol Grange. She enjoyed bowling and bingo but her greatest joy was being home raising her children. She leaves her son, Gordon Haskins and his wife, Linda of Fitzwilliam, NH; her daughter, Rose Haskins and her husband, Darrell Clark of St. Albans, VT; four grandchildren, Lynn Connors and and her husband Barry, Lisa Burke and her husband, Jack, all of Volanti, PA, Amie Ready and her husband, Donald, of Plattsburgh, NY, and Carie Jeleniewski of NJ; five great grandchildren; one sister, Rita Blanchard of Whitehall, NY; four step-grandchildren: Darlene Maronie and her husband Louie, Donald Jarvenpaa and his wife Marlene, Opie Jarvenpaa and his wife Kym, Scott Jarvenpaa and his wife Kim; several nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her husband of 59 years, Gordon "Pinky" Haskins, two brothers, John and Andy Kasuba, and two sisters, Evelyn Todd and Rose Kasuba; one step-grandson: Dean Jarvenpaa. The funeral will be held Tuesday, June 16, at 1:00 P.M. In Fiske-Murphy & Mack Funeral Home, 110 New Athol Rd., Orange. Burial will follow in North New Salem Cemetery. Rev. Jose Bermudez will officiate. Calling hours will precede the funeral Tuesday, June 16 from 11:30 A.M. To 1:00 P.M. In the funeral home.
