GARDNER - Mary M. (Burns) Kelley, 90, of 32 Crawford St., Gardner died Thursday, August 4, 2011, in the Baldwinville Nursing Home.
She was born September 6, 1920 the daughter of William and Margaret (Shea) Burns. She grew up in Gardner and graduated from Gardner High School.
Mrs. Kelley worked for Simplex Time Recorder for many years; prior she worked at Heywood Hospital at the switchboard and at the Greenwood Memorial Swimming Pool.
She was a communicant of Sacred Heart Church and a former member of the Catholic Women's Club. She enjoyed crossword puzzles, family events, and was a Red Sox fan.
She leaves one daughter, Nancy Boucher and her husband Kevin of
Gardner; four sons, David Kelley and his wife Michelle of Gardner,
Bruce Kelley and his wife Loraine of Gardner, Brian Kelley and his
wife Gina of Gardner, Kevin Kelley and his wife Diane of Gardner; a sister Doris Charland and her husband Marshall of Gardner; ten grandchildren, Jason Kelley, Colin Kelley, Ryan Kelley, Sean Kelley, Patrick Kelley, Erin Kelley, Shannon Kelley, Moira Kelley, Rachel
Kelley, Joseph Kelley; three great grandchildren, Steven, Jason and Charles, and her lifelong friend, Mary Horton.
She was predeceased by her husband Bernard Kelley who died in 1984 and by her half-brother, Ernest Sinclair.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be held Monday, August, 8, 2011 at 10 a.m. in Sacred Heart Church, 166 Cross St., Gardner. Burial will follow in St. John's Cemetery, Gardner.
Calling Hours will be held Sunday, August 7, 2011 from 4 to 6 p.m. in the Mack Funeral Home, 91 Vernon St., Gardner.
