Mary LaBombarde

MARY (ERALI) LaBombarde Mary (Erali) LaBombarde, 91, formerly of 86 Lakeview Ave., Athol, died Wednesday, July 31, 2002 in Winter Haven, Hospital, Winter Haven, Florida. Her husband of 68 years, Leon W. LaBombarde died in 1998. She leaves a daughter, Caprice Estelle of Auburndale, Florida; a son, Barry LaBombarde of Hinsdale, NH; three brothers, Mike Erali and Dominic Erali, both of Athol, and Rudolph Erali of Pittsfield, MA; a sister, Delina Gendron of Athol; and one granddaughter, Kristy Sheehan of Valrico, Florida; and many nieces and nephews. She was born in Sherman, Vermont, May 22, 1911, one of twelve children to Antimio and Francesca Erali, and lived most her life in Athol. She had resided in Florida the past three years. Mrs. LaBombarde was a member of Our Lady Immaculate Church, the Athol Golden Agers, and the Athol-Area YMCA. She enjoyed playing cards, including Bridge and Penochle. At one time she enjoyed camping with the family and vacationing. The graveside service will be held Thursday, Aug. 15, 2002 at 11 a.m. in Silver Lake Cemetery (upper section, off of Horrigan Ave.). Rev. Stephen D. Johnson, pastor of Our Lady Immaculate Church will officiate. There are no calling hours. In lieu of flowers, the family suggests donations be made to Alzheimer¹s Association, West.
