FITCHBURG - Mary T. (Marrama) Lunetta, 88, of 520 Williams Road, Fitchburg, died Friday, July 6, 2007 at home. She was born in Leominster, on May 15, 1919, the daughter of the late Antonio and the late Anna (Raffaele) Marrama. Mary grew up and was educated in Leominster. She and her husband Michael founded Mike´s Auto School in Fitchburg and operated the business for many years. They also owned and operated Lunetta´s Gift Shop and Lunetta´s Supermarket, both in Fitchburg. She was a communciant of St. Anthony Di Padua Church. She and her husband were very active with the Musicians' Union Local #173, attending many conferences and conventions across the nation. In her younger years she was a seamstress. She enjoyed reading, cooking and always had a pot of coffee, a plate of cookies and homemade soup ready for family or friends that came to visit. She most enjoyed spending time with her loving family. She leaves three daughters: Kathleen A. Dooley and her husband Norman of Scottsdale, AZ, and their two children, Robin Bourgault and her husband David of Fitchburg, Ryan Dooley of North Hollywood, CA; Anna M. Lunetta of Fitchburg and her three children, Joshua Lunetta of Chelmsford, Faith Bussey of Fitchburg, Caleb McGill of Fitchburg; Marie A. Lowe and her husband Robert of Fitchburg and their two children, Courtney Lowe and her husband Nabil Salim of Fitchburg, Brittney Lowe of Fitchburg; two great grandsons, Chase and Declan Bourgault, and several nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her husband of fifty years, Michael Lunetta who died in 1998, three brothers, Harold Marrama, Octavio Marrama, Victor Marrama and two sisters, Phyllis Lauricella and Rena Lewis. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held Thursday, July 12, 2007, at 11:00 am in St. Anthony Di Padua Church, 84 Salem St., Fitchburg. Burial will follow in St. Bernard´s Cemetery, Fitchburg. Calling hours will be held Wednesday, July 11, 2007, from 5:00 pm to 8:00 pm at the M.A. Simard & Son Funeral Home, 14 Walker St., Leominster, MA. The family suggests that memorial contributions may be made in her memory to Montachusett Diversified Visiting Nursing Association - Hospice Program, 316 Nichols Rd., Fitchburg, MA 01420.
