It is with a heavy heart that we announce the passing of Mary E. Morandi. Born on the 9th of September, 1937, in Clermont, New York, Mary lived an extraordinary life, full of love, laughter, and an undying spirit. She was a woman of unwavering strength, infinite compassion, and timeless grace.
As a beloved wife, mother, grandmother, and sister, Mary was the heart of her family. She was a devoted wife to her husband of 66 year, Richard Morandi, and a loving mother to her sons, Keith and Kris Morandi. She was also a cherished mother-in-law to Cheryl and Becky Morandi, and an adored grandmother to Daniel, Shawn, and Brianna and a great grandmother to 7 great grand children. Her radiance will continue to shine in the hearts of those she loved. Mary was preceded in death by her parents, Edith Lego and J. Tedford, as well as her siblings, Henry, Otis, Jay Tedford, and Caroline Kidder.
She is survived by nieces, nephews, and her brother Charles.
Mary was a successful businesswoman, owning and operating her own restaurant "Mary Places." She was a waitress and worked in food services business most of life. She was an excellent cook.
Mary's Services will be private.
In celebrating Mary's life, we invite all who knew and loved her to share their memories and upload photos. Memories of her will live on, and she will be missed dearly.
