Westminster- Mary Catherine Pearce, 88, died peacefully Monday, July 4, 2022 at her home in Westminster, MA surrounded by her family. She was predeceased in death by her husband, William C. Pearce in 2000. They were married 44 years. She was born in Buffalo N.Y. on October 20, 1933, a daughter of the late James E. Malone and Rose Mary Shanley- Malone. Mary graduated from Bradford High School in Bradford, PA on 06/05/1952. She was a homemaker and worked for Great Western Bank as a teller and a safe deposit clerk after her children were grown. Mary will be remembered for her strength, her morals, values and a wonderful sense of humor. She loved to laugh. Mary never met a stranger, she was kind, good hearted and a cherished friend. Mary had undying and devoted love for her family, children, grandchildren, great grandchildren and friends. She loved to spend time with her grandchildren going to their recitals, field trips and sporting events. She was an animal lover and enjoyed gardening, cooking for the family, baking apples pies and traveling. She leaves three sons, James C. Pearce of Westminster, MA, William T. Pearce of San Jose, CA. and Scott D. Pearce and his wife Jeannette of Santa Rosa, CA; two daughters, Monica M. Blessington and her husband Bruce of Clinton, MA, Sara A. Pearce of Lodi, CA; nine grandchildren, Tyler Kutz and his wife Diana, Laura Blessington, Caitlin Pearce, Amy Blessington, Natalie Brown and her husband Will, James Pearce, Claire Pearce, Kyle Blessington, Brad Blessington; two great-grandsons, Kamden Morris, Benny Brown. The family would like to thank HealthAlliance Home Health and Hospice Care for all their help and support, especially Mary’s nurse Lisa Cormier. Funeral services will be private in the Santa Rosa Memorial Park, in Santa Rosa, CA.
