Mary Jane Tamulevich

September 26, 1946 — June 13, 2017

ATHOL - Mary Jane Tamulevich (Blatchford), 70, of Athol, died on Tuesday, June 13, 2017, at the home of her son Christopher Tamulevich, after battling a serious illness. She was born on September 26, 1946, and resided in the towns of Salem, NH, Methuen, MA and then Orlando, Florida. MJ as many of her friends and family affectionately referred to her had a heart for those suffering with cancer, specifically childhood cancer. She was involved in many non-profit organizations and is noted by many as a prayer warrior. She went to great efforts to support the children and families who were suffering through their journey. Although Mary Jane had several careers over her lifetime, her most loved profession was that of a live-in Nanny for her grandsons, Michael, Jayce, Jeremy and Gage. She also enjoyed spending time making beautiful beaded jewelry, baking delicious cookies and being a part of a street ministry. She had a gift for being able to love others right where they were. MJ’s sense of humor and love for life will always be remembered. She is survived by her son, Christopher Tamulevich and his wife Diana, daughter, Lori Chambers, grandchildren Michael Elder, Jayce Tamulevich, Jeremy Chambers, Gage Chambers, Krista Erickson, Larissa Erickson and Michael Smet and great grandson Zack Chambers. As well as her sisters Frances Gould-Bourdelais, Caroline Blatchford-Demers, and many nieces and nephews. She is predeceased by her son, Michael Tamulevich and her sister, Patricia Gibney. A Celebration of Life memorial will be held Sunday, June 25, 2017 at 1:00 pm at the home of Christopher and Diana Tamulevich, 88 Summit Avenue, Athol, MA.
