GARDNER - Mary V. Zlotnik, 75, passed away on Saturday, May 16th 2020, at the UMass Memorial Medical Center in Worcester following a short illness. She was a long-term resident of both Gardner and Waltham.
Mary was born on the Pecos Army Air Field Base in Pecos, TX to the late Albert S. and Helen (Matusewicz) Zlotnik. She was raised in Gardner and was a graduate of Gardner High School, Class of 1962 and Stevens Business College, Class of 1964. Mary graduated with a Bachelor’s degree in Communications and a Master of Business Administration from Boston College; where she was also a long-time employee. Mary was a member of the Skidaddler’s Ski Club for many years, enjoyed traveling with family and friends, and was proud of her Polish heritage.
Surviving are her twin sister Marie (Zlotnik) Christie and husband Raymond of Shrewsbury, and her brother Albert P. Zlotnik of Gardner. She was the dear aunt to her three nieces: Susan Christie of New York, NY, Victoria Zlotnik of Plano, TX, Kathryn McAllister of Fayetteville, AR, and her great nephew Henry McAllister of Fayetteville AR.
