Melvin M Elliott

GARDNER- Melvin M. Elliott, 34, passed away on Wednesday, December 22, 2021 at Heywood Hospital in Gardner. Melvin was born in Holyoke on June 12, 1987, son of Girard and Clara Elliott of Jeffersonville, VT. He graduated high school from the Grafton MA Job Corps . He enlisted in the Massachusetts Army National Guard and completed basic training at Fort Benning, GA. He was stationed in Greenfield MA National Guard barracks until his service separation. He worked in the private security field in MA and NH and as a commercial truck driver. Melvin is survived by a daughter, Ava Baribault-Elliott of Jeffersonville, VT; fiancé, Shauna Willey of Gardner; adoptive parents, Girard and Clara Elliott of Jeffersonville, VT; his birth mother, Celestina Pagan; five brothers, Jason A Elliott, Jesus Aguilera, Luis Aguilera, Alex Hurwitz, and Daniel Gonzales; four sisters, Desiree M Elliott, Yolanda Pagan, Taina Lopez, and Celestine Chapman. He was predeceased by his birth father, David Martinez. A funeral mass will be held on Saturday, January 8, 2022 at 10:00 am, Holy Rosary Church, 135 Nichols Street, Gardner, MA. Burial to follow at Crystal Lake Cemetery, 130 Crystal Lake Drive, Gardner, MA.
