Michael J. Begor

Athol- Michael James Begor of Athol, passed away on Tuesday, November 14, 2017. Michael was born in Athol on December 31, 1970 to Richard J. and Elsa R. (Hastings) Begor. He grew up in Athol and attended Athol High School, playing baseball and football throughout his years there until he graduated in 1988. Michael had been employed as a machine operator at L.S. Starrett Company and more recently by Pepsi Bottling Company in Ayer. He enjoyed fishing and hunting and loved all sports. Michael is survived by his parents; Richard and Elsa Begor, sisters; Kristine Cherbonneau of Derry, N.H., Michelle Poor of Athol, and Kimberly Dubrule of Athol, nephews; Jacob, Matthew, Andrew, Kyle, Brett, and Evan, and niece; Emmery, as well as several aunts, uncles and cousins and his beloved Black Lab Riley. In lieu of flowers memorial donations may be made to the Town of Athol, for the Athol Animal Shelter, 280 Exchange St. Athol, MA 01331 Calling hours will be Tuesday, November 28, 2017 from 10-11AM in the Fiske-Murphy & Mack Funeral Home, 110 New Athol Rd.
