TEMPLETON- Michael Alan Chicoine, 65, of Templeton, died Sunday, November 17 at Quabbin Valley Health Care.
Michael was born January 12, 1954, in Gardner, son of Alice (Burgoyne) Chicoine and the late Norman Chicoine. He was raised in Templeton and graduated from Narragansett Regional High School. Michael worked as an auto mechanic alongside his father at Chick’s Auto Body. After Norman’s retirement, Michael took over the business.
Michael was a wonderful father, Grandfather, and friend. He was a hard worker, loved fixing things and helping anyone in need.
He had a great sense of humor, was down to Earth, kind to all, loved nature and music.
Besides his mother, Alice, he leaves his daughter, Kelly Lavoie and husband, Zach of Fitchburg; two grandchildren, Jameson and Joshua Lavoie; two brothers, Phillip and John Chicoine, both of Templeton; two sisters, Sheila Chicoine of Hubbardston and Kathleen Cronin and husband, Dan of Gardner; several nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be held Saturday, November 23, with a calling hour from 10:00 to 11:00 A.M. and the funeral following at 11:00 A.M. at Mack Family Funeral Homes, Lamoureux-Smith & Poliks Chapel, 105 Central St., Gardner. Burial is private.
