Michaelyn S. Rackley Weldon

ATHOL - Michaelyn S. Rackley Weldon, 44, of 11 Pitman Rd., Athol, died Tuesday, October 28, 2008 in the Athol Memorial Hospital, after an illness. She was born in Australia on December 27, 1963, the daughter of the late Inzar and the late Linda (Capone) Rackley. Mrs. Weldon grew up in Acton and moved to Brookline, graduating from Brookline High School. She was previously employed by Boston Medical Center as a Purchasing Agent for twelve years. Mrs. Weldon moved to Athol in 1998, and married her husband, Raheem Weldon, on August 30, 2005. She worked as a school bus driver and as a Private Care Assistant for disabled children. Mrs. Weldon loved to cook. She leaves her husband, Raheem Weldon of Athol; three daughters, Kyra Weldon, Kaylie Weldon, Kerrie Weldon, all of Athol; three sons, Dwayne Baker of Tennessee, Michael Baker of South Carolina, Raheem Weldon, Jr. of Athol; and three grandchildren. A memorial service will be held Wednesday, November 5, 2008 at 11:00 a.m. in the Fiske Funeral Home, 1356 Main St., Athol. There are no calling hours.
