A life well lived, a legacy that will continue to inspire, a spirit that has returned to the heavens; it is with deep sorrow we announce the passing of Michelle A. Cormier on June 16, 2024. Born in Gardner, MA, on March 2, 1954, Michelle was a beacon of resilience, strength, and wisdom.
She was a proud graduate of Gardner High School, class of 1972, and furthered her education at Burdette Secretarial School in Boston. Michelle's diligence and commitment to excellence were apparent in her work with Simplex in the field of electronic data entry.
Michelle was a woman of profound faith and was an active member of the Annunciation Parish at Holy Rosary Church. Her spiritual journey was not only reflected in her active participation in the church but also in her love for reading religious books. Michelle's faith was her guiding light, and through her, many learned the meaning of spirituality and the power of prayer. She was a woman of integrity, grace, and unwavering faith, always radiating love and kindness to those around her.
Michelle is survived by her siblings; Brother Jeffery Cormier, Sisters Stephanie L'Ecuyer and her husband Michael, and Nancy Severino, and she was a loving Godmother to Eric L'Ecuyer, as well as several nieces, nephews and cousins. She was preceded in death by her parents, Donald and Sally Cormier.
Her calling hours will be held on Sunday, June 23, 2024, at 2:00-4:00 pm in the Mack Family Funeral Homes, 105 Central Street, Gardner, MA.
A Funeral Mass will be held on Monday, June 24, 2024, at 10:00 am at Holy Rosary Church, 135 Nichols St., Gardner, MA.
Michelle will be laid to rest following the service at St. John's Cemetery, West Street, Gardner, MA.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions can be made in Michelle's name to the Annunciation Parish, Holy Rosary Church, 135 Nichols Street, Gardner, MA 01440
