Michelle M. Gavin

TEMPLETON - Michelle Marie (Colson) Gavin, 53, died Monday, December 19, 2022, at Heywood Hospital, Gardner.

She was born in Leominster on November 4, 1969, a daughter of  Francis Colson, Jr. and Charlette (Nadasky) Carey. Michelle grew up in Leominster and graduated from Leominster High School with the class of 1987.  She worked as a bank teller but her love was raising her children.  She recently worked for Door Dash as a delivery driver.

She leaves her husband of 30 years, William "Billy" Gavin; one daughter, Abby Gavin of Gardner; one son, Ryan Gavin of Templeton; her mother, Charlette Carey, and her husband Bruce of Fitchburg; her father, Francis Colson, Jr. and his significant other Paula Reid of Baldwinville; one sister, Katy Colson of Baldwinville; her mother-in-law, Jane Chaisson and her husband Raymond of Gardner; her father-in-law, Lee Gavin and his wife Rose of Estero, Florida; and many aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces, and nephews.

She was predeceased by her brother, Francis Colson III, and his mother Doreen Wyatt (Colson) whom Michelle was very close with.

Calling hours will be held Tuesday, December 27, 2022, from 5:00 PM to  7:00 PM at the Mack Family Funeral Home, 105 Central St., Gardner.  Burial will be private.

In lieu of flowers, the family suggests memorial donations in Michelle's memory be made to Sterling Animal Shelter, 17 Laurelwood Rd, Sterling, MA 01564.
