Michelle L. Lohnes

ATHOL - Michelle L. (Savoie) Lohnes, 42, of 85B Jones Street, Athol, died unexpectedly on Monday, January 31, 2011 in the Athol Memorial Hospital. She was born in Gardner on May 29, 1968, the daughter of John Paul Savoie of North Port, Florida and Ethel Mae Wheeler of Greenfield. Michelle grew up in western Massachusetts and attended Franklin County Technical School and Greenfield Community College. She was a homemaker for most of her life and enjoyed traveling often. Michelle loved spending time with her grandchildren, nieces and nephews. In addition to her parents, Michelle leaves her husband, Timothy J. Lohnes of Athol; two stepdaughters, Amanda Stone Lohnes of Marlboro, Samantha Marie Lohnes of Athol; four brothers, Paul Savoie of Greenfield, Eric Savoie of Colrain, Matthew Savoie of Greenfield, Garret Savoie of Holiday, Florida; one sister, Marcie Savoie of Colrain; two grandchildren, Jayden Choquette, Aurora Stone; her paternal grandmother, Aline Savoie of Canada; and her long-time family friend, Charles Evashousky of Athol. Funeral services will be held Wednesday, February 9, 2011 at 11:30 a.m. in the Fiske Funeral Home, 1356 Main Street, Athol. Burial will follow in Silver Lake Cemetery, Athol.
