ORANGE - Michelle Roberts Matthews, 48 of 150 A Oaklawn Ave, Orange, died Saturday, January 9, 2016 in the Brigham And Women's Hospital, Boston, MA. She was born in Athol, on March 6, 1967. She leaves behind her husband Steven Matthews; two sons, Michael W. Roberts of Orange, Steven T. Roberts of Orange; one brother, Harold Roberts of Athol; two sisters, April Griffthe of Texas, Kathy Fox of Texas; two grandchildren, Jayden William Roberts, Haylee Maria Roberts; several nieces and nephews and good friends Robin Rhodes and family and Patricia Bruce Pollard. She was predeceased by her father, William Roberts who died in 2001, by her brother, Michael Roberts and by a granddaughter, Annika Faith King in 2015. Michelle grew up in Athol and graduated from Athol High School in 1985. She enjoyed doing plastic pinups and going to Bitch and Stitch and shopping at WalMart. She loved her family more than anything and especially her PCA worker her brother Harold. She will be missed by her pets Izzy and Billy. She will be missed by all. Funeral services will be held Saturday January 16, 2016 at 10:00 AM in the Fiske-Murphy & Mack Funeral Home, 110 New Athol Road, Orange. Burial will follow in South Cemetery, Orange. Calling hours will be held on Friday, January 15, 2016 from 6 to 8 p.m. in the funeral home. In lieu of flowers the family suggests that memorial donations be made in Michelle’s memory to the Juvenile Arthritis Foundation 29 Crafts Street, Suite 450, Newton, MA 02458.
