Mike J. Cormier, 56 Beloved Son, Brother and Uncle Leominster-Mike J. Cormier, 56 died Wednesday, July 21, 2021 at Quabbin Valley Healthcare in Athol after an illness. He leaves his mother, Ella M. (LeBlanc) Cormier of Leominster, one sister, Lizette LeBlanc of Leominster: one brother Gilles Cormier and his wife Cheryl of Hopedale; four nieces and one nephew, Tammy Beauvais, Stephanie LeBlanc and her husband Juan Carlos Vivar, Sebrena LeBlanc, Jason Cormier and Meghan Cormier; seven great nephews, Shawn LeBlanc, Kevin Beauvais, Anthony Calderon, Jayden Vivar, Jacob Brideau, Colton Brideau and Dylan Cormier. Mike was born in Leominster on December 29,1964, a son of the late Donald A. Cormier. He graduated from Leominster High School in 1982. He worked in the construction industry. Mike enjoyed camping, fishing, playing horseshoes, music and his family and friends. He will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved him. His funeral will be held on Saturday, July 24, 2021 at 12 Noon in the Simard Funeral Home. A calling hour will be held Saturday, July 24, 2021 from 11:00am until the time of the service. Burial will be private on another day. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions can be made to the Quabbin Valley Healthcare Activity Fund, 821 Daniel Shays Highway, Athol, MA 01331.
