LEOMINSTER - Mildred A. "Millie" (Goodman) Brousseau 92, of Leominster died Wednesday November 23, 2016 in the UMass Memorial Hospital Worcester.
She was born May 9, 1924 in Altona, New York the daughter of the late Antowyne Goodman and Elizabeth (Brown) Goodman.
Millie move to Leominster in her early 20s and resided in Leominster the rest of her life.
She was employed at Paragon Plastics as the Shop Steward for over 30 years. She was a member of St. Cecilia’s Church. She enjoyed bowling and playing bingo at the Leominster Senior Center.
She leaves two daughters, Shirley Hart and her husband Wayne of Florida; Linda Gushlaw and her husband Ferris of New York; two sons, Ronald Brousseau and his wife Sandra of Athol, Dennis Brousseau of Ashburnham; 11 grandchildren, 23 great-grandchildren, 12 great great grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.
She was predeceased by her husband, Edward Brousseau who died in 1967, her son Randall Brousseau who died in 2010, and by three brothers, Floyd Goodman, Lawrence Goodman, and Joseph Goodman.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be held Tuesday, November 29, 2016 at 10 AM in St. Cecilia’s Church 180 Mechanic St., Leominster. Burial will follow in St. Cecilias Cemetery.
Calling hours will be held Monday, November 28, 2016 from 5 to 7 PM at the Simard Funeral Home 14 Walker St., Leominster.
In lieu of flowers the family suggest that memorial donations be made in her memory to the Leominster Mayor's Heating Fund for the elderly, 25 West St., Leominster, MA 01453.
