Mildred Josephine Chenausky

ATHOL - Mildred Josephine "Millie" (White) Chenausky, 94, formerly of 416 Main Street, Athol, died Wednesday, February 3, 2010 in the Quabbin Valley Healthcare, Athol. She was born in Athol on July 24, 1915, the daughter of the late Frank L. and the late Jennie (Todd) White. Millie was a lifelong resident of Athol. She worked at the former N. D. Cass Company in Athol and the former Athol Comb Shop. She was a member of the Starrett Memorial United Methodist Church and the Women's Society. She was also a member of the Athol Golden Agers, Friends of the Library, Y.M.C.A., and was fan of the Boston Red Sox. She volunteered for the Athol Memorial Hospital Auxiliary cart program, the Athol Library, and the Athol Senior Center medication program. She leaves one sister, Harriet Sanderson and her husband Harry of Orange; many step children, step grandchildren, nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her husband, Victor Chenausky in 1980; by her infant son, Leon James Pratt; and by three brothers, Norman, Erving and Francis. Graveside services will be held Friday, April 2, 2010 at 10:00 a.m. in Silver Lake Cemetery, Silver Lake Street, Athol. There are no calling hours. $(document).ready(function(){ });
