LEOMINSTER – Mildred A. Twichell, 90 of Leominster passed away peacefully Saturday, May 12, 2012 in the Rose Monahan Hospice Home in Worcester. She was born in Leominster on May 25, 1921 the daughter of the late Harry and Alice (Hood) Bunnell.  She grew up in Leominster and graduated from Leominster High School, class of 1941.  She attended Becker Business College. Millie worked for Foster Grant Company for many years and also at Sabatelli Jewelers prior to her retirement in 1986.  She attended St. Cecilia’s Church in Leominster.  She was a past active member of the Leominster Business and Professional Women’s Group, a member of the Fortnightly Club and Homemakers Club of Leominster.  She was also active as a member of the Friends of the Leominster Public Library for many years. Millie lived for over 15 years in Pinellas Park, Florida where she enjoyed an active lifestyle that included dancing, water aerobics, practicing tai chi, riding her bike, and being a member of a Bocce team. She was also an active member of the Red Hat Society of Pinellas Park. Millie especially enjoyed spending time with her family and friends. She returned to Leominster in 2010. She leaves her husband of 62 years, Marlton E. Twichell, of Leominster.  She leaves four children, Michael E. Twichell of New Bern, NC; Maureen Viau and her husband Chris of Shrewsbury; Mark Twichell and his wife Kathy of Leominster; Maryann Chevalier and her husband John of Leominster; five grandchildren, Jessica Viau of Shrewsbury; Michael J. Twichell of New Bern, NC; Sarah Twichell of New Bern, NC; Kaitlin Twichell of Leominster; Allison Viau of Shrewsbury and several nieces, nephews and many friends in Florida. She was predeceased by two sisters, Agnes Raaum, Gertrude Bunnell; by four brothers Roland Bunnell, Raymond Bunnell, Richard Bunnell and by Harry Bunnell, Jr. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Friday, May 18, 2012 a 1 p.m. in St. Cecilia’s Church, 180 Mechanic St., Leominster.  Burial will follow in St. Leo’s Cemetery, Leominster. A calling hour will be held Friday, May 18, 2012 from 11:30 to 12:30 p.m. in the Simard Funeral Home, 14 Walker St., Leominster. In lieu of flowers, the family suggests that contributions be made in her memory to the Rose Monahan Hospice Home, 10 Judith Road,
