ORANGE - Miriam Zoe Rosenheim, 80 of 383 East River St., Orange, died Thursday, April 5, 2012 in the Legend Rehabilitation and Nursing Center, Gardner surrounded by her loving family.
She was born in New York, NY, on August 5, 1931, the daughter of the late Frederick J.P. and the late Gertrude (Shanahan) Rosenheim.
She grew up in New York and in Massachusetts. She was a member of St. Mary's Church in Orange and was active in the prayer group at the church. She was an active member of the King James Court Tennant’s Association. Miriam enjoyed spending time with her family and playing bingo with friends.
She leaves two daughters, Annemarie Taylor and her husband Gene of Athol, Pamela E. Boudreau and her husband Matthew of Athol; two sons, Patrick E. Rosenheim and his wife Arlene of Danvers, David F. Rosenheim and his wife Belinda of Euless, TX; nine grandchildren and one great granddaughter.
She was predeceased by her son, Michael Rosenheim who died in 2005 and by her sister, Gertrude Rosenheim who died in 1995.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be held Monday, April 9, 2012 at 10:00 am in Our Lady Immaculate Church, 192 School St., Athol. Burial in New Town Cemetery, Sudbury will be private.
Calling hours will be held Sunday, April 8, 2012, from 5 to 8 p.m. at the Fiske-Murphy & Mack Funeral Home 110 New Athol Road, Orange.
In lieu of flowers, the family suggests that memorial contributions be made in her memory to American Heart Association, 20 Speen St., Framingham, MA 01701.
