Mitchell Victor Martin

We gather here to celebrate the life of a man who revved up joy in everyone he met, Mitchell Martin, born on April 19, 1957, in Fitchburg, MA. A man of many talents, Mitchell was passionate about his interests and never shied away from living in the fast lane, much like the cars he adored.

Mitchell was a proud Oakmont Regional High School graduate in 1975 and had the honor of lending his voice to the Choir, which sang with the Vienna Boy's Choir. His love for learning didn't end there. He earned his associate's degree in Computer programming from Mount Wachusett Community College and worked as a Computer Analyst for Digital. Mitchell chased his dreams with the same zeal he chased the finish line during his beloved car races.

Although he never married, Mitchell was surrounded by love transcending marital bonds. He is survived by his siblings, Michelle and Michael Martin, who will treasure their memories of him. He is preceded in death by his beloved parents, Alcide and Lorraine Martin.

We invite all who knew and loved Mitchell to join us for calling hours on Monday, 18 Dec 2023, at 9:30 am at Mack Family Funeral Homes, 105 Central Street, Gardner, Massachusetts. His funeral will follow at 11:30 am, in the same location. 

 

Mitchell will be laid to rest at Woodside Cemetery, Westminster, MA following the service.
