Muriel Emerson Frost Piermarini

ATHOL - Muriel G. (Emerson) (Frost) Piermarini, age 84, of Athol, died Monday, February 27, 2017 at home. Muriel was born July 22, 1932 in Worcester. She is the daughter of the late Harold and the late Bertha (Fiske) Emerson. She grew up in Shrewsbury and New Salem and graduated from New Salem Academy in 1951. She enjoyed spending time with her children and grandchildren and working in her flower gardens. She also loved music and dancing, was an avid reader, loved having coffee with her friends, and loved spending time at Ogunquit, Maine, with her husband Paul. She is survived by; four daughters: Jean K. Muzzy of Orange, Patricia D. Flematti and her husband, Rick of Athol, Doreen S. Frost of Petersham, and Cheryl A. Morandi and her husband, Keith of Athol, and two sons: Allen W. Frost and his wife, Jenn of Orange, and Charlie L. Frost and his wife, Lori of Athol; she also has five step-children: Paul P Piermarini, Jr., Peter Piermarini of Leominster, David Piermarini of Leominster, Mark Piermarini of Gardner, and Julia Ponusky of Leominster; she has 9 grandchildren, 8 step-grandchildren and 6 great grandchildren, countless friends, and her beloved dog, Mitzi. She is predeceased by her husband, the love of her life, Paul P. Piermarini, Sr., her brother, Wilbur Emerson, and her sister, Rhoda Meuse. Services will be private.
