Myrtle J. Morris

BUTLER, PENNSYLVANIA - Myrtle Jane Morris, 103, of Butler, PA, formerly of Pittsburgh, passed away Monday, June 29, 2009 at Angert's Personal Care Home in Butler, PA. She was born February 4, 1906 in Fall River, MA, the daughter of the late Herbert Wood and the late Emma (Dickinson) Wood. Myrtle was of Methodist Faith. She enjoyed doing hand crafts and being a homemaker. Surviving are a daughter, Jane & her husband Robert Kennedy of Butler, PA; four grandchildren, Kelly and her husband Robert Deemer, Timothy Kennedy, Matthew Kennedy and Mark Kennedy; and four great grandsons. She was preceded in death by her parents, by her husband, Guy K. Morris who died July 30, 1980 and by a brother. Calling hours will be held Friday, July 3, 2009 from 7-9 p.m. at the Mack Funeral Home, 91 Vernon St., Gardner. Burial in Silver Lake Cemetery of Athol will be private.
