Nancy L. Drury

Ashburnham- Nancy L. Drury, 75, died Saturday, January 14, 2023, at UMass Marlborough Hospital after an illness.

She leaves three nieces, Nancy Rolle of Ashburnham, Lynn Wilshire of Gardner, and Ann Yelle of Phillipston; one nephew, Roger Drury of Fitchburg; eight great-nieces and nephews, and several great-great-nieces and nephews. She also leaves several aunts and uncles and cousins as well.

She is predeceased by her brother and sister-in-law, Roger and Nancy Drury. 

Nancy was born in Fitchburg on October 23, 1947, the daughter of the late Rodney and Mildred L. (Raymond) Drury. She was a 1965 graduate of Fitchburg High School, and a 1969 graduate of the School of the Bible, in Lancaster, PA, with her Bachelor's Degree. She also went to school to learn sign language. 

Nancy worked for Bradlee's in Leominster for over 25 years and for TJMaxx in Leominster for over 10 years prior to her retirement. 

She was a longtime member of the Bethany Baptist Church in Gardner and attended the Beth Eden Church in Fitchburg. She enjoyed scrapbooking, plastic canvassing, writing poems, and traveling to Pennsylvania and Maine. She also liked doing puzzles and collecting lighthouses everywhere she went. 

Nancy's funeral will be held on Saturday, January 28, 2023, at 11:00 a.m. in the Bethany Baptist Church 72 Ryan Street, Gardner, MA 01440. 

Her burial will be in the Spring in the New Cemetery, Ashburnham, MA.
