Nancy H Mattson

Phillipston-Nancy H. Mattson, was born on November 18, 1939 in Gardner and passed on October 19, 2022 at the age of 82 years old. She was the daughter of the late Alphonse and Doris Mattson of Templeton. 

Nancy leaves her daughter, Marla Botschafter and her husband Robert with whom she lived with in Phillipston during the past year. She also leaves her sister, Sandra Drake and her husband Bill of FL, one granddaughter, Colby Milligan and her husband Derek of Winchendon, three grandsons, Timothy Monette and his wife Francheska of Southbridge; Jeff Brewer and Michael Hamel; nine great-grandchildren and many close cousins.

Noting Barbara West who assisted her in Florida during her many medical procedures, Bev, Glen and Brenda who she loved playing cards with; and her friends at “The Attic” store in Titusville, FL whom she deeply missed this past year. 

She is predeceased by her brother, Robert Mattson and a daughter Gayla Sweatt and a grandson, David Wizerkoski

Nancy especially loved to spend time with her family. Nancy was talented in pursuing her hobbies; consisting of cross stitching, quilting and making various other crafts. She also loved Christmas and decorating for the holidays 

Nancy worked at the Templeton Developmental Center for 30 years with her last position being in charge of “The Farm Store”.

Nancy will be dearly missed by all, May she rest in peace.  Nancy’s funeral and burial will be private.
