ATHOL - Napoleon J. DeGrace, 89 formerly of 151 Silver Lake Street, Athol, died Saturday, November 26, 2011 in the Quabbin Valley Healthcare, Athol. He was born in Canada August 10, 1922, the son of the late Evariste and the late Sophie (Delegarde) DeGrace. He grew up in Athol and was educated in Athol. He served in the U.S. Army. Mr. DeGrace was employed at the N.D. Cass Company for many years.  He was a member of Our Lady Immaculate Church, a member of the Franco American Club and the Lithuanian Club. He enjoyed woodworking. He leaves a sister, Leona Ziguloski of Athol; two nieces, Linda Lyman of Athol, Jane Rice of Athol; three nephews, Billy Cormier of Athol, John Cormier of Athol, Joe Ziguloski of Athol, and several great nieces, great nephews, one great great niece and several cousins.  He was predeceased by his sister, Julia M. Cormier. Funeral services will be held Tuesday, November 29, 2011 at 10 a.m. in the Fiske-Murphy & Mack Funeral Home, 110 New Athol Road, Orange. Burial with military honors will follow in Silver Lake Cemetery, Athol. There are no calling hours. In lieu of flowers, the family suggests that donations be made in his memory to the Gardner Visiting Nursing Association – Hospice Program, 34 Pearly Lane, Gardner, Ma 01440.
