Athol – Neil M. Lyesiuk, 35, of 1358 Old Keene Road, died Sunday, January 23, 2011, unexpectedly in New Britain, Connecticut.      Neil was born November 5, 1975 in Greenfield, Massachusetts, the son of Gene W. and Catherine A. (Alexakis) Lyesiuk.  He grew up and lived in Athol most of his life, graduating from Athol High School in 1994.  He also attended Greenfield Community College and Taeko Post College in Waterbury, CT.  He worked in sales for many years.        Neil has always been active in all sports, especially enjoying weight lifting.  He also loved music of all kinds, the latest fashions, fishing, fast cars and motorcycles.  He was a member of several gyms in New England.  Neil had many friends and was one who lived life to the fullest.      He leaves his parents, Gene and Catherine Lyesiuk; a brother, Erik Lyesiuk of South Boston; and a sister, Kelly Ramos and her husband Willy of Oceanside, CA.  He also leaves his nephew and Godson Jagger V. Ramos and several aunts, uncles and cousins.        A Mass of Christian Burial will be at 10:00 a.m. Friday, January 28, 2011 at Our Lady Immaculate Church, 192 School Street, Athol (those attending the mass are asked to go directly to the church).  Burial will follow at Silver Lake Cemetery and calling hours will be held Thursday, January 27, 2011 from 5:00 – 8:00 p.m. at Higgins-O’Connor Funeral Home, 146 Main Street, Athol.  In lieu of flowers the family suggests those wishing to make a donation in Neil’s memory should be made to: the Brattleboro Retreat Addiction Fund, c/o Development, P.O.
