Nellie A. Young

Nellie A. (Muzzy) Young, 78, of 366 Exchange St., Athol, died Saturday morning in Health Alliance, Leominster Hospital, Leominster after brief illness. She was born in Athol August 13, 1924, daughter of the late Anthony and Anna (Gustlauskas) Muzzy and lived here all of her life. She was a 1942 graduate of Athol High School and along with her husband, was an enthusiastic collector and dealer of antiques. She is survived by her husband, Stanley C. Young, Sr., whom she wed August 31, 1946; one son, Stanley C. Young, Jr. of Alexandria, VA; one daughter, Kathleen Destroismaisons of Athol, four grandchildren and four great grandchildren. Relatives and friends are invited to attend the funeral on Tuesday from J. Edward Murphy Funeral Home, 137 Main St., Athol followed by a Funeral Mass in St. Francis of Assisi Church, 101 Main St., Athol at 11AM. Burial will be in Gethsemane Cemetery, Athol.
