ORANGE- Norma L. (Schenck) Bourque, 78, of Orange, died Saturday, September 28, at UMass Medical Center, after an illness.
Norma was born September 26, 1941, in Woburn, daughter of the late William and the late Julia (Barboza) Schenck. She worked for Raytheon for over 20 years before her retirement and was a member of the IBEW 1505. She also volunteered at the Orange Food Pantry.
Norma was a nature lover. She loved Native American culture and participated in many Pow Wows. She enjoyed crafting, gardening and cooking. She will be remembered for her cheerful nature and her delicious rum cake. She was a wonderful mother.
She leaves five children, Andra Bourque, Stephanie Ericksmoen and her husband, Butch, Audra Bourque, and Lisa Bourque; one son, Johnathan Regan and his wife, Shauna; two brothers, William and Joseph Schenck; six grandchildren, Melissa Ericksmoen, Vincent Bourque, Mia Bourque, Georgia Regan, Leila Regan, and Johnny Regan; and many other loved ones.
Norma was predeceased by her grandson, Zachary, and sister, Pearl Schenck.
The funeral will be held Saturday, October 5th, at 11:00 A.M. at Fiske-Murphy & Mack Funeral Home, 110 New Athol Rd., Orange.
