Orange – Norma M. “Becky” (Edson) Robichaud passed away March 7, 2017 surrounded by family. She was born July 16, 1934 to Raymond F. Edson and Amelia M. (Guignard) Edson in Athol, where she spent most of her life. Norma was known as Becky since she was a small girl, being called that by her father.
She leaves her loving and devoted husband of almost 58 years, Norman J. Robichaud, daughter Heidi Brown and her husband Joe, son Scott Robichaud and his wife Deborah, step-daughter Linda George and her husband Tommie, step-son Douglas Robichaud and his wife Connie, step-son Michael Robichaud, 10 grandchildren, 2 great-grandchildren, as well as many nephews and nieces. She was predeceased by her brother Raymond F. Edson Jr.
Becky graduated from Athol High School in 1951 where she played field hockey, softball, and was a cheerleader. She loved the beach, reading, and watching her childrens’ and grandchildrens’ activities. She was a member of Our Lady Immaculate.
Her jobs included F.W. Woolworth Co., Moskovitz, Scott’s Jewelry, Starretts, Athol Gas and Light, Athol High School Cafeteria, and Athol Hospital.
Services will be Monday, March 13, 2017 at Fiske-Murphy & Mack Funeral Home in Orange. Calling Hours will be from 10:00-11:00 AM immediately followed by the funeral and burial.
