Norma Jeanne Young

GARDNER - Norma Jeanne (Pervier) Young, 90 of Gardner, died Friday, November 3, 2017 in the Gardner Rehabilitation and Nursing Center. She was born in Templeton, on March 28, 1927, the daughter of the late Charles and the late Bertha (Bragg) Pervier. Norma graduated from Templeton High School with the class of 1945. She enjoyed selling antiques at Rietta Ranch, baking, dancing, sing-a-longs, and telling stories of her childhood of frog catching and time at the Pervier homestead. She leaves two daughters, Cynthia J. Gingras and her husband Jerry of Hubbardston, Jane M. Gingras and her husband Scott of Ashburnham; five grandchildren, Kristin Anderson, Katie Arsenault, Karin May, Michael Gingras, Jacob Gingras; seven great grandchildren. She was predeceased by her husband, Arthur R. Young; by her son, Mark A. Young; by three brothers, Lincoln Pervier, Ernie Pervier and Robert Pervier and by two sisters, Doris Blanchard, Shirley Swedberg. Funeral services and burial will be private.
