PHILLIPSTON – Pamela E. MacAloney, 73 of Phillipston passed away Saturday, August 14, 2021 in Quabbin Valley Healthcare, Athol.
Pamela was born on May 4, 1948 in Gardner to the late Ralph MacAloney and the Late Mildred (Nutting) MacAloney. She grew up in the Gardner area and graduated from Oakmont Regional High School. She worked as a furniture pin-striper and decorator for Temple Stuart and S. Bent Company. She enjoyed crocheting, knitting, painting, and reading. She especially enjoyed pencil drawings and was very artistic. She loved spending time with her family.
Pamela is survived by her son: Edward P. Hanks Jr and his wife Shari of Winchendon; her daughter: Deborah J. Scaplen and her husband James of Phillipston; seven grandchildren; eight great grandchildren; two brothers: Scott MacAloney of El Paso, TX, Keith MacAloney of Fitchburg; her sister: Marcia MacAloney of Templeton; several nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be held on Friday, August 27, 2021 at 11:00 a.m. in the Mack Family Funeral Home, Lamoureux-Smith & Poliks Chapel, 105 Central St., Gardner.
Calling hours will be held in the funeral home from 9:30 a.m. – 11:00 a.m. prior to the service.
Burial will follow in Green Bower Cemetery, Gardner.
