Patricia Jean Berry-Lamb, known affectionately as Patricia Berry, was a beloved figure universally adored for her humble spirit, loving nature, creative talents, and funny demeanor. Born on February 13, 1940, in Waltham, MA, Patricia's life was a testament to the power of love and the beauty of simple joys.
Patricia Berry was the heart and soul of her family, and her home in Orange, Massachusetts, was a haven of warmth and laughter. Known for her delectable baking, she created an array of cookies, pies, and breads that were as delightful as her company. The aroma of her creations drew in friends and family, who gathered around her table to share stories, laughter, and the occasional card game. As George Bernard Shaw rightfully said, "There is no sincerer love than the love of food," and Patricia's baking was a testament to her overwhelming love for her family and friends.
A long-time resident of Royalston before moving to Orange, Patricia Berry had a fulfilling career as an office clerk at Starrett Tools, from which she retired. Patricia was a dedicated member of the American Legion Post 373, where she bartended for many years. Despite her achievements, she remained a humble and down-to-earth individual who found true joy in life's simple pleasures. She loved crocheting, watching game shows, and spending time with her partner in crime, "Ginny." Together they would participate in local cribbage tournaments, enjoy games of Keno, make trips to Foxwoods, and treasure their weekly family dinner on Sundays. Patricia served as a loving mother, Gram, Ma, and Great Grandma, creating lasting memories for her family.
Patricia Berry leaves behind a legacy of love and laughter, survived by her children Russell (Camilla) Berry Jr., Melinda (Butch) McGivern, her grandchildren Mark (Amy) Burnett Jr., Sarah (Arnel) Collins, Steven (Kari) McGivern, Jessica (Greg) McGivern, Harry McGivern, Aimee (Lee) McGivern, and her sister Virginia Gingras. Patricia's love continues to bloom in the hearts of her great-grandchildren Deavin, Bryton, Dakota, Landon, Rylee, Jeremiah, Allyson, Lyllie, Lee Jr., Mia, Carson, and Kallie. She was preceded in death by her parents Walter Sr. and Alice Clark, and her husband Russell Sr.
In the words of Maya Angelou, "People will forget what you said, people will forget what you did, but people will never forget how you made them feel." Patricia Berry made everyone feel loved.
The family invites everyone to come to the Tully CCC 365 Tully Road, Orange following the graveside service for food and a chance to celebrate Patricia.

Calling Hours will be Wednesday, September 4 from 12:00-2:00PM at Fiske-Murphy Mack Funeral Home 110 New Athol RD, Orange. There will be a ceremony at 2:00PM and a graveside service at South Royalston Cemetery.
