It is with extreme sadness we announce the passing of Patricia Ann (Livingston) Gallant.
A beloved wife, sister, mother and grandmother. Patricia, or "Pat/Patty" as she was known to many, was born on March 17, 1950 to Elmer Livingston and Pearl (Gonyeo) Livingston. She was the second oldest child of 13 children. Patricia was influential in the upbringing of her siblings, helping out her mother and father.
Pat was an active, vibrant woman. She was a loving and caring woman, loved by everyone who knew her. She was incredibly selfless, always caring about others and going out of her way to help. She was always going to the gym and walking her dog daily, oftentimes with her daughter Heather.
She enjoyed watching women's sports, from basketball to volleyball, as well as the Boston Bruins. She also enjoyed shopping and was an avid reader. She was extremely proud of her 4 grandsons, Brian, Tyler, Ben and Kody. She worked for the department of corrections for many years, until her retirement in 2015. She also worked as a time keeper part time for the men's ice hockey leagues at the Gardner ice rink.
She leaves behind her husband, Melvin Gallant, her daughter, Heather Gallant-Therrien and her husband Shawn Therrien, her son, Mark Gallant, her 4 grandchildren, and her 10 siblings, Edward Livingston, Debra LaFlamme, Cynthia MacDonald, Kathleen Livingston, Joseph Livingston, Peter Livingston, Stephen Livingston, Veronica Livingston, Julie Livingston and Angela Dora.
She was predeceased by her parents, Her brothers Brian Livingston and Daniel Livingston.
Calling hours will be held on Saturday, December 14th from 1-3pm with a Funeral Service to follow at Mack Family Funeral Home, 105 Central St., Gardner.
In lieu of flowers, her family encourages you to make a memorial contribution to your local animal shelter.
