Leominster-Patricia M. (Supple) Going, 99, died at Life Care Center of Leominster after an illness.
She was the wife of the late Sidney Going, Sr.
Patricia leaves one daughter, Sister Mary Going OSB of Martin Kentucky; one daughter-in-law Kathleen Going of Leominster; three grandchildren, Brandi Mancuso of Littleton, Kerrie Keefe of NY and Kelly Coston of ME; eight great-grandchildren, Rudy, Shyanne, Corey, Quionna, Dionna, Natasha, Adam; and Daniel; four great great-grandchildren, Emmett and Delilah Rose, Malaki and Eliana.
She is predeceased by three sons, John Going, Sidney Thomas Going Jr, and Thomas Philip Going and one brother, John Supple, Jr, who died during the Battle of the Bulge in WWII.
She was born in Leominster on August 11, 1923, a daughter of the late John Francis and Mary (Couillard) Supple, Sr. She graduated from Leominster Schools and from Fitchburg State College with a BA in Education. She was an Elementary School Teacher, teaching at Bennett, Lancaster Street and Fall Brook Schools.
She was an avid reader, enjoyed knitting, going to the ocean and her cat.
She was a member of the Holy Family of Nazareth Church.
Her funeral will be held on Tuesday, August 30, 2022 at 10:00 a.m.in Holy Family of Nazareth Church 750 Union Street, Leominster, MA 01453.
Burial will follow in St. Leo’s Cemetery, Lancaster Street, Leominster, MA
Calling hours will be on Monday, August 29, 2020 from 5:00 - 7:00 p.m. in the Simard Funeral Home, 14 Walker Street, Leominster, MA 01453.
